The site is nestled in the lush tropical setting of Banana Beach on the south coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal. The client wanted a modern house that goes along with his current lifestyle but with the vision that it will change in the future, so the house needed to accommodate his future family plans. The is located on a relatively steep site, therefore is perched on the furthest uppermost part of the site to capitalize on views and privacy as well as to accentuate the semi-Agorian nature of the front facade.
